Lad to Dad

Being a father is a lifechanging experience and as much as we prepare ourselves for the event, it doesn't always happen the way it is perceived.

My experience is detailed in a book being published this year and this site summarises these experiences. I will provide an insight into what could be expected but will also provide facts and information on enjoying and appreciating this time of life.

In the Beginning

In The Beginning

I never dreamt I would become a father and thought that if I decided to have children and couldn’t for any reason then I would adopt or foster. My ideas on this subject were very hazy because the last thing on my mind would be to dedicate any time or money on anyone but myself and my wife.

My life as I saw it, was great fun, being free to socialise eat and drink, wherever and whenever we wanted.

Setting up a mini-blog is relatively simple. Here's what you need to do to get started with making new posts:

  1. Login to the MODx Control Panel.
  2. Press the plus-sign next to the Blog(2) container resource to see the blog entries posted there.
  3. To make a new Blog entry, simply right-click the Blog container document and choose the "Create Resource here" menu option. To edit an existing blog article, right click the entry and choose the "Edit Resource" menu option.
